MY STORY
The Rising Star (2007–2010)
The Foundation: Born into a curling dynasty, Eve took up the sport at age nine. Her potential was undeniable as she dominated the junior circuit, winning an unprecedented four World Junior Curling Championships (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011).
Olympic Debut: At just 19, Eve made her Olympic debut as the skip for Team GB at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, becoming one of the youngest skips in the history of the Games.
World Champion & Olympic Bronze (2011–2014)
Global Success: Eve led her rink to victory at the 2011 European Championships and reached the pinnacle of the sport in 2013, being crowned World Champion in Riga.
Sochi 2014: History was made at the Sochi Winter Olympics. By guiding her team to a bronze medal, Eve became the youngest-ever skip (male or female) to win an Olympic medal. She was awarded an MBE later that year for services to curling.
Resilience & Leadership (2015–2020)
Consistent Excellence: Throughout this period, Eve remained a force on the world stage, securing multiple European medals and a World Championship bronze (2017).
PyeongChang 2018: Despite a heartbreaking fourth-place finish in South Korea, Eve’s leadership shone through as she navigated the challenges of elite sport, including undergoing major hip surgery to save her career.
The Golden Year (2021–2022)
European Dominance: The comeback was solidified with a gold medal at the 2021 European Championships in Lillehammer.
Beijing 2022: As the flag bearer for Team GB, Eve led her team to an emphatic 10-3 victory over Japan in the final to become Olympic Champion. Shortly after, she added the Mixed Doubles World Championship to her tally before retiring at the very top of her game in August 2022.
Leading the Next Generation (2023–2025)
Chef de Mission: Transitioning from athlete to leader, Eve was appointed Chef de Mission for Team GB at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics (where GB won double curling gold) and for the senior team at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
Off the Ice: Her impact was recognised with an OBE in 2022. During this time, she also became a prominent voice in broadcasting and a sought-after keynote speaker, sharing her insights on high performance and mental resilience.
A New Direction (2026 & Beyond)
A Fresh Chapter: Following a record-breaking Winter Olympics for Team GB in Italy, Eve has shifted her focus to her new business ventures.
Muirhead Curling & Beyond: Through the relaunch of her platform and the development of Muirhead Curling, Eve is dedicated to sharing her "competitive edge" with the corporate world and mentoring the next generation of sporting talent.
